Gday all, been a while
I've been without a VW for a year or two now and am considering a new project. Thinking of converting a Type3 to full electric to use as a day to day
city car. Anyone have any experience in these convercions?
All thoughts, ideas, comments appreciated.
Ps, Now in Perth WA

Some cool links guys, the Ghia looks awesome (pity I can't afford one to convert).
Weight may be an issue, anyone know what different VW models weigh? May choose a beetle if there is much of a difference, otherwise just lighten up a
T3
Good to see Paul, whats left to go on your Golf? Will drop you a line after I do a bit more research on the subject.
Found complete (less batteries) conversion kits for VW's from the US, $2000us on Ebay, and very basic ones for $1500 elesewhere. Surely must be able
to source parts here?
