Whoo-hoo.....made it into Fast Fours magazine
Dasdubber - April 12th, 2007 at 08:36 PM

Those who know me should know I'm not one to gloat/boast....but I was pretty stoked to see my old ragtop (currently for sale by the way in the buying/selling cars section) in Fast Fours magazine.

The photo shoot was well over a year ago so it was cool to see it in print finally......if you're interested, check out the current issue (May)....pg 104.

Alright, gloat is over :blah

Alan

PS Of course I was more stoked to see it on the cover of VWMA, but I figured everyone here would have seen that mag so didn't need to mention it.

Didn't want to scan the article in (don't want to get into trouble for copyright)!

Hope this is okay (can't afford a law suit right now!)

Thanks Adam......"used to have" though - sold it a while back, and now for sale again by Damo in Noosa.

It is a steal for $20K - sounds like a lot of money but good luck building one of this calibre for that!

Cheers Nick.

Well done! Bug and you deserve all the attention....well deserved! I think only when you've had a go at doing a car yourself do you realise how much effort it is to do...and do well.

Hi

Its a very fitting tribute to a great car. In the past there have been letters to editor complaining about too many VWs appearing in FF&Rs, I wonder if there will be any about your car.

Steve

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE - April 13th, 2007 at 08:57 AM

Good job Al and well deserved.

Letters to the editor about too many VW's??? I'm almost willing to send a letter to the editor about too many Jap Taxi's(Skyline's) in that mag. every second page there's one with the same stuff done to it as the previous car.

At least owning a VW shows some sort of individuality....

sinecure - April 13th, 2007 at 02:14 PM

Well done, that mag was my bible 15+ years ago when I had my Dat 16.

Stanley - April 13th, 2007 at 04:18 PM

Awesome stuff Allan (or should that be fooly sic). Any chance the've done an article on the mini jam and can see that a VW also won All Motor.

Go the volksies.

Hertz - April 13th, 2007 at 06:08 PM
