Who does custom rubbers seals etc in QLD.
sinecure - April 14th, 2007 at 01:46 PM

My uncle is restoring a '54 Peugeot and is trying to locate someone in GC/Bris area who can supply him with basically all the rubbers (doors, windows, window seals etc.), even if they are non genuine, or are similar enough to work by near-matching his current ones.

Anyone know of a business that does this?

Thanks,

Mick.

There's a company in Ipswich called Jacksons which carries a whole heap of different automotive rubber sealing strips on rolls if you wanted to send me a small piece / cross section of the seal strip you wanted I will be happy to duck in and see if they've got-- or can get a match---or you could try Clarke Rubber--- if you can find someone motivated in the store to assist--- they may be able to help.

Thanks very much for the kind offer BASHOdi, I'll try to get a piece that isn't completely disintegrated and get it to you. Failing that, I'll try to construct a cross-section profile of what he needs.
