Need to hire/borrow 4stud wheels/tyres Bris for 2 weeks not to drive on
sinecure - April 17th, 2007 at 04:21 PM

I will need to hire or borrow any set of vw 4 stud wheels and tyres for about 2 weeks.

They won't be driven on, just need to hold the car off the ground until my new wheels arrive, so the tyres just need to hold air, tread condition is irrelevant.

If anyone can help, please let me know. At 1300kg, I'd rather not put it up on blocks.

Cheers,

Mick.

Hi Mick
I have 4 standard wheels at my place..there doing absolutely nothing apart from getting rusted out. Your more then welcome to have them as i dont have the need for them.. we pumped the tyres up and 3 out of the 4 held air, the other leaked from the valve for a couple of seconds then stopped. You can have them for nothing..

Recorded, engineered dry weight, too. Full front to rear tubular and box steel spaceframe, massive door intrusion bars, and 'glass up to 12mm thick in the structural areas.

The way kit cars should be built IMHO. And yeah, the body won't separate from the pan ...easily.

Love the guitar hero avatar, Chris. ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!
