We are moving to a new host. This will occur before the end of the month.

Impact to Aussieveedubbers users

During the move, the forum will be down for about 12 hours (depends on how long it takes to backup, transfer and restore 2 GB of data). You will be able to read, but not post to, the forum. When the day is known, I will post it here so you can plan to spend that day working on your Bug.

Software upgrade

Before we move, I will be upgrading us to a later version of this software. We are still planning to move to vBulletin in the future, but they don't have a convertor for this software. By moving to a later version of UltimaBB, we should be able to convince vBulletin to write a good quality convertor.

There will be minor differences in the look-n-feel, and hopefully fewer bugs.

If you host with us

We currently provide hosting to a range of users, and I will attempt to contact them all privately. However, please note that when we move, we're moving to a host where we cannot easily re-sell hosting. Most likely, we will require you to move to new servers. We can provide you assistance in moving and providing a few good hosts. Please e-mail me (vanderaj @ greebo.net) if you are currently hosted with us at Quantum Tech, and let's talk.
