Yesterday I found another rarity in the local area(bush area), and now have it at home. The owner, after little thought, sold me his 67 split window dual cab for a bargain price that I am too embarassed to mention. he said that it had been sitting since 1985 after rebuilding the motor then had a brake failure scared himself and didn't drive it again. Has rust only in the sills and all seats are intact. Will post pics next week.volma1

Congrats Volma. I hope to be a guest at your place one year. The minister of leisure and travel and I were just discussing holidays and both though
Tasmania would be nice. No agreement on taking the Dog-O-War though. Think well be there in a Forester if that happens.
Kepe a teabag spare just in case.
Almost there $200. volma1

A little history on the crewcab. It was originally from South Aussie and spent most of it's life in Coober Pedy and still has red dust inside the sills. Anyone recall one there 20+ years back.volma1
Rhys, only costs $105 each way in deck chair and car travels free most of year (45 weeks). If car unreg'd then get $36 permit to drive onto boat then trailer from Melbourne. Supposed to be roadworthy--- loose term!!volma1
Trying to post pics but must be too big, need help.volma1

I was wondering if you can help me seeing that you are in tassie. my kombie is from tassie (actually it might be you that found it for me..... well for my friend) anyway, its registered in tassie and i need to change the address on the rego cos the address has changed. Im in melbourne and need to change the address but the number on the rego sticker is for tasmania only. Do you know a direct local number for the car regos? ive looked it up on the internet too, but cant change it there either!
No the crewcab is complete as I found it, nothing missing but has a broken tail light and front indicator lense also broken. All wiring intact. Am going to attempt to start it this weekend and give the results considering it hasn't run since 1985. Rach yes that is the green kombi that Elly used to own and sold to you via Jason. Email me and I will help you out with your rego problems. volma1
