17 inch brms for baywindows

Just searching for rims when i thought I had decided on a set I discovered on http://www.classicveedub.com.au  and on there "COMING SOON" section it says that there are 17inch BRMs comimg soon to fit late Kombis.Does anyone know anything about this I tried calling but couldnt get through.I thought 17inch BRMs where only available in New beetle stud pattern.But if they have now made em to fit my bus Im gonna have to change my mind and get 17inch brms Cheers

17s cost a lot more for tyrage than 16 or 18 from what my tyre bloke told me so check before you bite the bullet.

are you sure bout 18" costing LESS than 17" tyres.................. 18 are far more rare dude id say it the other way round but i might be wrong im not a tyre pro

Short answer is yes, but availability might be the problem. Not many people carry 17s on the shelf so you might have a wait on the order. Wouldn't mind seeing them on though, I thought about these a while ago.
