What screen resolution do you use ?

I am rebuilding a few VW orientated wbsites and was just woundering what resolution most of you guys used ?

I wind mine up as high as it can go - like my music.

I get mine as big as possible before i have to scroll around the screen. usually bout 1600x1200. could even plug 2 monitiors if i really wanted to be
cool. look funny with a crt and an lcd though...:P

If you are building websites, catering for 800x600 is important. Forget the 640x480 users though, lets face it most people are using 1024x768 Yeah?

It effects the layout of the websits. If I build if for 1200 ish and you have 800 ish reso then you will have to scroll left and right as well as up
and down.
If I build for 800 then you will end up with wasted space.
I am going with 800 I think and will just code in a side bar so it don't look like pooo. Give it another year or so and I may have to change it
all again. Then again by then I will be smart enough to code in resolution detection and increase varaibles to match :>

Most websites are at 1024 X 768.
