We have another classic ebay comment............. come in spinner!

Quote......... If I can't find a VW enthusiast that wants to take care of it, I may consider donating it to a museum.

I'm turning my garage into a museum. I am currently accepting donations to get it off the ground.....

completely original, apart from all the restored bits...but it does look nice, I might be tempted if it were nearer civilisation

nice looking standard beetle

Only one I've seen with painted hubcaps and bumpers

although some idiot has added the chromed strips....

from memory, the hubcaps and bumpers were painted with a dull sort of silver paint??

I saw a standard beetle in original [crappy] condition out past Merriwa NSW a few weeks ago...
its the only one I've ever seen without interior light switches....
most have had them added....
it did have all the chromed bits plus the fuel gauge and glovebox lid had been added...

there is a local standard beetle in original classic condition,
although its sitting on a 1976 chassis and engine....
