Anyone see the story in this mag .. I think it is renamed for other states .. Page 34 under the story heading of Outback - Beetle Hospice in Sebastian Vic... Counted 15 Type 1's two bays and a splitty ... Looks like there may be a Beetle Ute?? Graet back yard .. I think he could do with a better shed!
Yeah, cool enough!
sixty or so dubs.
some of which he plans to fix up and return to the streets... and I thought three was bad

Mitchell.
OK, related to the hit and run post??
So there was a mag article
Thats Desert Bug from the forum
Yeah that was me. The photo was taken 6 months ago by a photographer from Melbourne who had been put on to me by someone from Volkswagen club of
Victoria.
He took about 100 photos in 2 hrs. The story was done by a reporter from Sydney from a conversation over the phone.
Theres 72 VWs here at the moment, (approx 12 belong to friends who havent got room at home), plus the ones we drive, wifes '72 Beetle, youngest
daughters '63 Beetle, my '66 Baja (on Club Reg), and of course Rhetts '66 ratrod Bug undergoing a transformation.
Over in the graveyard are 33 Beetles (incl 5 ovals), 15 Splitties, 13 Bays, 8 Type 3s and 3 Country Buggies. Some are body shells that are too good to
throw away just yet, (when youv'e got a wife and 4 kids that drive VWs you never know when you might need a body panel or something else).
Cheers,
Ian.
do you want another daughter?????????
or a son????
Mmmm, nah, sorry Racheal I can't keep up with the four that I already have.
Nice thought though,
Ian.
Well ... I want your backyard! It looks great
