What are the dimensions of a 60'ish bug fuel tank? and does anyone know if you can run a fuel cell to replace it?

yep 40L for 60 on standards and 42L for superbugs

really? coz I've only ever managed to get 25l in mine when I fill it up and it's a 1960 tank.

is it the newer 40hp style flat top one?
or the old raised top 36hp oval style?
wouldnt have a clue what they hold but the flat top ones are def 40L
i got a 61 bug tank in my 70 and its a 40L jobbie too
