Sincerely sorry about this all but I need to try and contact someone. My home PC updated itself with update 2 to Microsoft Service Pack 3 and seems to have dumped its inbox completely.

Anyway, there is a guy who bought a narrowed splitbus beam from me and picked it up from me at work at Lorimer St a couple of weeks ago. Lives in Ferntree Gully, drove an orange bug, has a pmg panel he is working on (Al? - sorry I'm pretty bad at remembering names). Left me a set of spindles to do (which are done).

That sounds like Stuy. Was he a kind of scruffy looking guy with a goatee? All the clues match, he has an orange beetle, lives in FTG, and may very well be working on a panel. I'll give him a call and ask.
