I'm having a run tomorrow, anyone else? Got my lucky number 500.....:thumb
oh yeah I'll be there...........................NOT !
I was there. finished 5:48 ahead of last years time. I struggled through the last 3km so I was stoked when I crossed in 69:04.
the BOY flogged u Frazer he did 48.46
must be all my supervision and his training schedule i hold him to LOL
I'd be kicked out of the public service if I ran that quick.
If I was using your training schedule Dave, I would be still running....:P
I told u how to do it
Hi
Which one of you guys pushed the lady over? Don't you guys know that you only have so many heart beats allocated, if you use them up running around
like idiots what are you going to do when you run out of them?
With Daves training you would develop a very good right arm.
Steve
my pulse has peaked at 177 just on the tradmill! I'll have to get a monitor so that I can tell when I am about to die.
There was a young woman who fell next to me at the start. I swear I didnt push her. And I didnt push the other woman... I finished 20 minutes before
that.
Not condoning what happened but I can see why it would. Too many walkers not keeping left as they are told. I had to take a couple of breathers along
the way. I moved over to the left. Its not hard to be courteous. Although if they finished 20 minutes behind me, they cant have been very fast
runners....:o
Chris, you going to do the City To Surf again this year?
I was going to but after seeing a start with just 5000 starters I'm thinking I'll get killed in the rush with 65000 !
My next is the Blackmores Sydney Half Marathon in Sept. All a lead up to the half ironman in Nov in NZ. And the ironman in Germany on my 50th next
year. 2 words come to mind...first is "midlife" you guess the second:P
My God! you idiot. My ankles knees and hips only just cope with the 14 odd kms of C2S. Though they (monaghetti) reckons it is more like a half
marathon. Your midlife crisis thing rings true. I have a short life ahead, I had mine when I was 33... and started running. I dunno what your problem
is though. I ran because I couldnt afford a car, you have a couple of them.
I'll be there again this year. I treat my running like I would a hillclimb. I'm not out to win, just beat my previous time. Running with back of the
pack is pointless. There's just too many obstacles. Even a gronk like problably covers an extra km or two just weaving in and out of the idiots
clowning around. It is a scary start. It would be foreseeable for someone to be trampled to death if they fell. I guess thats why it cost 36 bucks
when they arent supplying you with any more than a number. $2.5 mill buys a lot of insurance. I got in really early this year trying to get into the
'blue' start whatever that is. Havent got my number yet.... have they been sent out?
I'll be at Blackmores as well. Hopefully doing the 9km if I get released from the ball and chain who will probably be doing the 4km. The 4km from
Milsons point to the Opera house is good scenic fun for anyone and their family who is thinking they might be interested. I did it last year with my
crew. Kids love getting a medal and feeling like a champion at the end.
