A shall we say, enthusiest, has just bought this wonderful car to Sydney. I had the pleasure to go over it the other night. They've said I can post a
few pickies up, but most of you have seen this from its infancy.
Lovely bit of kit Al. Great job. It's going to cruise nicely with us in Sydney. We'll make sure the bastard looks after it.

Yeah, it cruises along okay...!
Ah so it runs now? Wahoo....!
Egad, is that frost on the roof? The new wing for the museum musn't be finished yet.
Can i ask what is going to power this puppy now??

My guess is it now belongs to a certain hill climber down that way
I think that drieway looks familiar?
I wish I could come :-)
and the answer is ???
some one who, out of the blue, bumped the thread on the build of the car, was looking for porsche wheels lately, recently asked dasdubber if he
should bring a carton up to qld, just sold a particular stroker motor (maybe the extra power was too much
) and if the notch was taking up the driveway space for this piece of art............must not have bought the
tarp yet
New Clue ~ Shed ,bugger me he must have the Tardis (Doc Who) to fit all those 76's and this new toy too.
Mind you though if he keeps bang'n those hill climbers around he'll soon create some more room.
hehehhehhehehehe
bye bye QLD
you towed it??? :jesus
a picture tells a thousand words
bye bye ragtop - enjoy! :thumb
not only was it towed - but it was done so with a ford???? lol

No probs Craig - happy to have you up here. Also happy to see the rag go from a good home (Damo's in noosa) to another good home a little further
south! Also nice to hear your wife was actually happy to see another veedub enter the driveway for a change!
Alan
I then stopped at Stan Pobjoy's on the way home to "fit up" the new 1916cc powerplant.
The motor is one of Stans standard spec (base) 1916, fitted with the twin Del's and stainless steel merged exhaust. :thumb
Love the removable rear apron !!

Did most of the work at Stans on Saturday night, then I finished the fuel lines/electrics etc when I arrived back home in Syd.
