Hey Barls,
Any side shots of it so we can see how long it is? Obviously not made to fit a roof and the doors and windscreen look far better than most top chops I've seen.

VWFREAK - August 6th, 2007 at 06:39 PM

I bet there's few meters of steel reinforcing going on there.

barls - August 6th, 2007 at 07:21 PM

Yep Dave, its going to need all the turning circle it can get, with a beam it would need a runway.

Well said steve, after doing yet another motorkhana in my car and trying to do tight turns (not to mention trying to get neg camber) I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that...
BEAMS SUCK!!! :cussing

I'd like nothing better than to cut mine off and put double A arms or struts on.

BTW, nice stretch...but I hope it's not a 75.

1303Steve - August 8th, 2007 at 09:18 AM

Hi Peter

Do you have turning brakes on your car, they can make up for the beams short comings. Or you go here and buy one of these units. http://a-arm.com/

Steve

pete wood - August 8th, 2007 at 12:55 PM

that's awesome, that's exactly what I want. I wonder how much they are worth?

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE - August 8th, 2007 at 01:03 PM

Steering brakes FTW!!!

pete wood - August 8th, 2007 at 03:32 PM

no not steering brakes, their for cheats. I want a car that actually HANDLES properly. I meant the double a arm front end.
