So i am in canada hey, just logged into my bank account back home and some one is hacked in and spending my money, $180.00 has been taken out and
spent by this person, now i am f%^&*ed how the hell can i get a new account from over here when i am being paid from back in OZ. I am pissed off.
This is all i need, one pissed off aussie.

give em a call. when i was travelling a canadian buddie of mine got her wallet stolen in a backpackers in FNQ, rang the banks and they sorted everything, arranged for new cards (although a family member was going to have to collect i think) did everythign real quick and polite. as you can prove that the transaction wasnt yours it will be covered by the banks insurance and you shouldnt have any trouble at all gettign it back. bummer all the same.
Think this has now been accounted for hay babe - its something to do with your Work VISA?
