sound deadening felt

Hello all, im wondering where i can get my hands on some felt to use for sound deadening. i tried a few carpet places, but they had no idea. i live in melbourne, if anyone knows anything, that would be good.

All car carpet places sell it... car trimmers...

You can get all different types.. thicknesses
Non mold - different materials...

I got some 15-20mm grey felt from Clarke Rubber... T'wasn't too expensive... works well for what it is.

I used waste cotton. Talk to Columbus, he used it in his kombi

You can get stuff like Dynamat from car sound system shops- can be expensive though but it's good stuff.

if you haven't already you can get some good stuff made by bostick from all paints in glenroy Melbourne about $4 a sheet.

$4 a sheet !!! Wow that Dynamat cost my son $100 for about a metre and a half square! I suppose it comes down to how big is a sheet really, so how big is a sheet?
