Maybe a question for Steve C or Costa
I'm thinking of getting a new family car, and being from the UK I remember they were selling Audi RS2 wagons just before I left in 1997. I think they
were made until 1999, but I was wondering if anyone has seen any over this way.
They were actually built by Porsche, and had Porsche 17' Cup wheels, brembo twin spot brakes and 964 mirrors and were faster than a Maclaren F1
0-30mph.
Let me know if you've seen any for sale over here.
Thanks
Steve

Steve, I dont think they ever made it to Australia. Unless there are some private imports around.
Both below articles say they never came here, and were only made in left hand drive. But the one in your picture sure looks like it is right hand
drive...

The closest thing would be a RS4, but I havent seen any for sale for less than $100 000
A small number of RHD Audi RS2 vehicles made it to New Zealand - I have heard a story that one very good example was imported into Australia within
the last 3 years.
I believe it ended up in Melbourne.
The RS2 was customised by Porsche from S2 vehicles supplied by Audi and returned to Audi for finishing touches.
Otherwise, the B5 RS4 is a very desirable vehicle - getting a good example in Australia will take patience. These vehicles are now at least 8 years
old.

Hi Steve, drove an RS4 B5, scary! forget it, you'll lose your licence! Ended up with a conservative V6 but not as fun...
