hi,just wondering if i could get some info ,
if i register my 54 oval with a vwclub do i get cheaper rego?,the car is not a daily driver,so limited mileage is not a prob.
also if club registered does that reduce your green slip payment?
sorry if these are basic questions,but i am a bit unaware of how this sort of thing works here in oz,back in the uk we had a similar concept....a few answers would be great

the club has to be historic rego registered, and the green slip is incorporated in the rego price,first year is $89 because you have a plate fee (just done one of my beetles),then its $56 every yr after that(my other beetle),makes it easier for me as i have a ford for family use ,and using it only for club runs is fun,but it does limit any modifications you would like to do.

VWHS exists on the central coast and has vintage rego facilities.but there are restictions to mods & useage.
