Hi,
I am considering purchasing one of the brand new brazilian 16000's and am seeking feedback of all kinds. I am unsure wheter it is best to get one of
these or get a basic 1641 or 1776 built as this would only cost a bit more, but it may use some second hand components.
Any ideas or thoughts are most welcome.

I would be fitting 36mm dellorto's, 009 dizzy with electronic ignition, lightened flywheel, and a phat exhaust.
Do you reckon this would stress it too much??

I would say as long as you dont go changing cams and doing head work.
Cast cranks are recommended for sub 5k revs
Cam chane and head work would more the power band up.
The changes your talking just improve where the power band is.
I am sure Type 4 motors have a stock cast crank and plenty of them are with twin duals
It is if you like you new found friend (power) and want more.
Still no problems.
By then you will be pulling the case apart to throw a new cam in, for another bunch of $$$ that is when you throw a balanced counterweighted forged

Yep, they do have a cast crank but they run fine to 6000rpm for sure.(in a formula vee)
