well i picked her up today and i must say i am very impressed :thumb
she runs ok needs the clutch fixing n few little things (i hope) and then she will be ready for rego
and not only does she go ok but shes a head turner if i do say my self..
this is the first time ive ever been cruzin in a bug and i couldnt wipe the smile off my dial and to make me feel even better i got my first of many :thumb from other drivers on the way home and driving from west syd to central coast there were a few that followed that one too

Well done,
now you just have to keep her and keep enjoying yourself :)

twoguns - September 25th, 2007 at 06:53 PM

reading your other post about rego. its a pity the ad say... would pass easily

wonder if the tosser who sold it knew for sure. maybe they can reimburse for their deception??

twoguns - September 25th, 2007 at 10:21 PM

i have an excelent mate who is a legend with the dubs, on the central coast. so if you need some help, he is the man... i call him 'Saint'.
if you need it let me know and i can put you in touch.

he will know what to do and how best to do it. saved me before and taught me a lot.

twoguns - September 25th, 2007 at 10:24 PM

HaHa, jsut looked now. you have updated your profile. he is sooo close he probably heard you when you saw the list of 'to dos'

teya_69bug - September 26th, 2007 at 10:04 AM

twoguns - September 26th, 2007 at 10:43 AM

i will talk to him on the weekend, when i see him. he is a great bloke and enjoys his veedubs. he has been a big inspiration to many down your way.
when i bought my 58, the Saint and i spent time getting it back on the road.
then when LJ who bought my ol 58 from me, he spent many weekends tinkering again with eth assistance of Saint.
all up we took squidwood thru the three stages below.
