Well, the bi-annual Bay to Birdwood Classic was run on
Sunday. I entered with Boris the Rat and my mate entered his 65 Toyota Stout.
For those of you unfamiliar with the event, it is one of the biggest in Oz and vehicles came from all over the country manufactured between 1957 and
1977. The next one is in 2009 and is for 59-79. The Vintage Bay to Birdwood is held on the interim years and is for all cars made before 59.
There were 1750 entrants and here are some pics (about 40).....twas an awesome day!

Well done
You did a far better job than me documenting the day.
I was sitting out the back watching the cars drive in (and waiting for my relo with a Cortina GT 500) and I was really impressed and surprised by the
high number of interstate plates.
I reckon it is a real credit to the event that so many cars from NSW and Vic to support it.
I was happy to have a few people taking pics of my dub too even though it was parked out the front.
I will be a definate starter next time specially since Aaron is taking care of some panel work which I was subjected to by a reversing idiot.
Where are the Mini pics? There were plently there!
Yeah there were heaps of Mini's but I tend not to take alot of pics as I'm a bit over ém at the moment.....I'm into quirky gear at the moment
(even thinking of buying a Corona) so that's why there's a few oddballs.
Hey, let me know when you have your pride and joy on the road again and we'll go for a cruise. There is a retro meet at Castle Plaza this
month.....dunno much about it but I got a flyer, we can catch up then, look forward to seeing your ride!
