Hello all. im just about to put my square back together and im wondering if there is more to installing new mud guard beading than i think..... Do you also use a glue? What will i need to know? any info would be great. Cheers, Rowan
......come on people don't be shy
If its the same as a beetle you dont use glue,If you still have the old ones use them as a template to cut out the new ones then fit them hope this helps cheers shane.
no glue there held in place with the guard bolts
fit then in the sun if possible this will allow you to adjust more easy
check this stuff out, I have it fitted to my square

thats the stuff to use, the beetle beading has a different profile.
Thx a lot guys. I already bought some "T" profile beading from VVD. I began installing it and its not as easy as i thought. especially as the cars almost vintage the panels have shifted ever so slightly. Really fiddly job but ill get there. Cheers and thanks for all your advice.......Rowan
