Hi Guys,
We're looking at getting a part shipped from the U.S.
It will weigh 60 pounds and the dimensions are 42"x19"x8".
I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with shipping parts internationally. Getting quotes can be difficult at times, and the prices range
immensely!
Does anyone know a good courier company who wont ask for my right arm and kidneys as a down-payment?
Cheers,
Ash n Bob
Hi
Try a good old US mail. You can work out prices on their website. Don't use UPS etc, they know how to charge.

Holy Cow Ash x,

plus the size....
it All adds up to a hefty price to get it here...
US Mail is the cheapest
it may take a few months to get it though...

Ash have you tried BAX global, they seem to be ok.
If only i could bring it home as carry on for you, oh well. Good luck, Damo.

A mate of mine brought home a cylinder head for his Sunbeam Tiger on the plane - and that's a Ford cast iron V8 cylinder head. Quaintarse were going to hit him for excess baggage until he suggested they looked at his travel record - he was flying first class to the US every three weeks. "Have a nice flight"
