Hate to say it, but the way that whole thing has started is f***ed!!
Although I have never met my cousin, I just found out (by reading the national press) that she is "not so straight".

why do some people always say " I'm gay & etc etc" You should be outraged about what happened because it is/was wrong? There was a classic case in the local rag were they asked 4 people (with pictures) and the question was "how did last nights budget affect you" This girl answered "I'm a lesbian, so there was nothing in it for me" WTF has that to do with your taxable income?
its like a guy saying " I'm circumsized & I'm outraged about Dick Pound retiring from the international anti-doping committee" unless of course you are pushing an agenda?

Yeah, she is my cousin. From the ones down south who have met her, she is pretty nice too (especially compared to some of my other cousins... but thats a whole 'nother story).

Not too sure if I read DUBBs post correctly, but from the website (the way i read it) she didn't say (or shout) anything about being gay and asking for special treatment.
She simply put a sticker on her car because she wanted to show what she wanted to show. Can you tell me that none of us have stickers on their cars expressing any form of opinion?

its funny i didnt have any stickers but years ago i had a 2CUTE2BSTR8 number plate frame noone ever seemed bothered by it but i came out one arvo cos my alarm was going off and 2 kids about 14yo had snapped it off and legged it when they set the alarm off
i was left standing there thinking WTF why steal that??

the point I trying to get across was that the vandalism of any car or object is wrong, sexuality should not be a factor. I do not see the need to put a sticker on my car that is likely to trigger a negative reaction. Not everyone is enlightened. if I put a sticker on my car that states "Holden owners eat shit" and I come back to find my car has been keyed, who's fault is it? a persons sexuality should only be important to that persons close friends and family. if you decide to broadcast a private matter, then do not complain about the responses that this may bring. why do you think it takes so long for celeb's to come out. my mum was devasted when Rock Hudson revealed his preferences. But life goes on.
