Ramstein when the kids and wife aren't in the car. Otherwise I feel the Veronica's and kids music pain as well.

Genuine guitar heroes, hard rock or blues.

Albert King, BB King, Johnny Winter, Clapton, Nugent, just to name a few.

I only ever listen to Curtin FM 100.1

It plays all music up to and including the 1960s, 70s and some 80s.

It's considered to be the best communty radio station in the world.

It's exactly what I like to hear, as I lost interest in popular music in the mid 1970s when an unholy trinity of reggae, punk and disco ruined it and it's still ruined.

My daughters love the Veronica's. I have to suFfer it at home. best solution is to buy them an mp3 player with headphones. In my wifes car it is almost always Robbie Williams so I don't ride in her car unless I have to.

Fortunately I drive by myself most of the time and can listen to Rush, Alice Cooper, Eric Clapton, and lately Steely Dan

baybuscamperkid - November 21st, 2007 at 05:11 PM

HilltopHoods, Tiltmeter, little bit of Emiliana Torrini on occasion.

shaihulud - November 21st, 2007 at 05:50 PM

Apropos Steely Dan.

Steely Dan is named for a stainless steel dildo that appears in William S Burrough's novel The Naked Lunch.

OZ Towdster - November 21st, 2007 at 06:58 PM

In the Buggies ~ the well tuned roar of a pair of IDF's
The Bus ~ Whatevers in the CD player , ACDC , Steve Miller , Ben Folds , The Waifs , Aussie Crawl , Paul Kelly etc etc but mainly aussie stuff.
The Work Ute ~ The bloody work phone usually as it never stops ringing

ancientbugger - November 21st, 2007 at 07:27 PM

In the cab it's Bad Co, Eric Clapton, Janis Joplin. A couple of weeks back there was also Led Zeppelin but I've recently watched a rerun of 'This is Spinal Tap' and can't manage to listen to them seriously now:crazy: Hey Shaihulud don't show your age mate you can still listen to decent music of your own:) In the buggy though another head unit has recently bitten the dust- or rather sand so now I have to sing to myself:(

Notch Nut - November 21st, 2007 at 08:41 PM

Nuthin. The notch is 6 volt so I have no "wireless" and the bike.....it ain't no Honda Goldwing so a stereo is outa the question.

Togiget - November 28th, 2007 at 10:27 AM

Has anyone else feel the pain of veronicas with gfs on the car or their live recordings with that dean geyer guy?

frank2112 - November 29th, 2007 at 05:10 PM

So far my daughters Veronica's CD's have not made it to my car but when we go away at Christmas I'm sure I will have to suffer it for part of the trip.
