Yeah its annoying problem. I've been sending PM's but as my account is so screwed up i don't even know if they're coming through.
I also have to log in with my username as (jo_tas)

Oops.. i mean i have to log in using jo_tas (with the backslash in there)
I can't seem to be able to edit my posts... it says i'm not allowed..

Ok, backslashes don't show up in posts?? It should be jo(backslash here)_tas.. lol.. this is getting silly..

I just had a look at your profile

it looks in order 2 me ( not that i know much anyway ) all the tabs n buttons appear to be in the correct status

Sounding like the third arm is getting in the way....... your saying you cant backslash??? try the knife in the other hand...

OK seriously now... have you changed anything in your profile? Try deleting all your cookies and restarting your computer.


Sounding like a bad cookie.. prolly from the coffee club... lol

I checked your profile again vs mine and its the same

theres no tabs or key in there that stops you from creating a thread

delete the cookie to aussie vee dubbers and reload again

have you look at yr profile ???

I found the problem

some how you were not in the member list as jo_tas but i could look at your profile

there was a name jo_tas with a backslash in it l with the same number of post as you the machine must have got it kickers in a knot or did you change or edit yr profile by mistake ??

I have change the name as per above so you should be back to jo_tas

there is also a person Jo_Taz2` listed is this you as well ???

thats a funny thing..
i had the same prob just a few days ago when i went for a trawl thru my profile info..
in my email it had a backslash in it and i thought what the?
so i corrected it and the site thru me off when i hit the update button
it took me a while of trying to log in to no avail until it barred me from trying for 5 mins
so i had a browse of my email and there was a letter from avd giving me a new password
i did this logged in and reset the p/word
a bit a buggerising about but thats what happened to me
maybe a new flaw in the system has been detected now admin?

btw jo, good to see things are back in order for you here..

I also tried again to sort it out as per the PM a few weeks back - I still can't work it out and referred it to Andrew (vanderaj) but haven't heard back from him yet.
