Congratulations to both of you Andrew and Tanya,
Hope all are recovering nicely and that it all gets better from here on in.

vw54 - December 26th, 2007 at 07:48 AM

congrads Andrew n Tanya does that mean shes an American ???

vanderaj - December 26th, 2007 at 08:30 AM

Yes, she's American. Through both Tanya and I, she's eligible for Australian citizenship, which we will do as soon as we're ready to come home. She'll be able to come and go here without difficulty, which is excellent, as tourists are treated like criminals at the moment.

She's the most wonderful new born - will sleep all night if you feed her properly during the day, and is already holding the (smaller) bottles to ensure it doesn't escape. We would have liked her to be breast fed, but circumstances through the pregnancy (extreme vomiting - Tanya lost 25 kg during the pregnancy) prevent that.

I've uploaded a video to You Tube - check out my blog. :)

thanks,
Andrew
