Hi all,

Just wondering if there's a good VW mechanic that knows how to fix/service beetles around sydney north shore/northern beaches.

Thanks!
Ron

I used to go to a nice bunch called 'germania' motors, but that's been a while, they're in North Sydney/StLeonards/ Crows Nesty kinda .. i think.
they knew their stuff, and the prices were reasonable. wonder if they're still there. should check ....:thumb

Hi guys,

Thanks heaps for the info.
I live in Willoughby.
I'm just checking out places for tune ups and general service.
Was thinking if there's nothing around the north shore I'll just go to Vintage Vee-dub supplies...

Ronster

what sort of car do you have and year model. This is important when choosing a mechanic, as some of the guys who work on old stuff ( air cooled ) dont no water cooled and visa versa..

there are several places on the northside that i will recomend, but if your not happy then theres nuthing wrong with a cruise through the harbour tunnel and down the eastern dist to the M5 and Campsie

Hey Mitchell,

Yes it is!!!!

Settle the deal this morning.
Can't believe how complete it is!! :D

Comes with full service records back from the first owner when he bought it new in 1975 + as new insturction manuals + a new set of original chromed hub cabs!!

As I said in another thread about the NRMA inpsection that a few things will need to be fixed, but that's ok, was trying to replace the rear right indicator this arvo.

Still tyring to master the art of driving a manul car tho :P

My mate jon a.k.a. spritle has been great helping me out from day one!!!
