I have read with great interest in the overseas vw mags about the bash that VW put on for the 60th birthday of the transporter, Are VW going to do a similar thing for the 70th annaversary of the laying of the foundation stone in Wolfsburg (26 MAy 1938). Will there be any events here in Aus to celebrate? I know the VW nats are on the 25/5/08 so is there anything special happeening there?

There was a big bash held 10 years ago for the 60th so it would be nice to do a similar thing this year.
