What an event, as usual there was a massive amount of horse power with the odd rarity thrown in for good measure. But the VW team didn't let the side down with 4 Beetles, 1 Manx and 1 T3 wagon in attendance.

My son, daughter and I also managed to sore a couple of trophies for our rides.

The kids score 3rd for Coolest Kids Cruzer and I scored a Show and Shine Stand Out Award, for Lower Than a Snakes Belly, blew me away big time considering there were some big $$$$ air ride cars out there. We were also interviewed by a few film crews and some news papers, the kids loved the attention, but dad just liked the promo girls, lol.

Also it finally looks like Summernats is finialy excepting the Rat / Hoodride movement. but with many many restrictions

Other than that the piss heads weren't too bad and the classy chick were out in force once again. My sons education is now complete.

Thanks guys, I saw some of the Mini Truck guys on Sunday and they were fuming a VW / Vehicle without air bags stole there thunder.

^^^^ 100% right, static lowered cars, even if not on the ground deserve that award moreso than an airbagged car! Plus they would have liked seeing something different.
