Check out this car ad. Anyone heard of the "Grip King" accessory? Sounds cool, very James Bond. I always thought he was an Aston Martin fan. Imagine what you could do with this accessory if you wanted to use it for evil!

Reminds me of what my little brother's mate had on his Gemini. He had a windscreen washer bottle mounted in the boot(which contained a slippery substance) with 2 tubes drilled through the wheel wells to the rear tyres. "NOS" button on the dash....
I always wondered how he managed to "fish-tail" a Gemini at a drop of hat!:lol:

Yes, all steam engines had pipes in front of the driving wheels
and sand was used to get traction on slippery rails
