I think I read somewhere [a while ago] that never dial 9 when You answer Your phone
as this gives access to the person dialling to Your Phone account
I have never thought about this before
But When I answered the phone recently, a voice said
"You have won a holiday in the caribbean"
"Please press 9"
thats when i hung up....
anyone know anything about No 9 or did I miss out on a real trip??

now thats from the US, but I would think that our system would be very similar. From the only few Aust Urban Myth sites it would seem that only PABXs
are really at danger as well, not Mobiles .
But I still wouldn't press 9 
in the uk if you press 999 you get the cops running round!!
if you dial 666 they arrive on their heads!!! 
its an old uk joke, i'm sure others will laff!
