Does anyone know anything about these boards? I've seen a pretty good deal for a quad, but I've never heard of them, good or bad.

I've seen a quad on ebay by sanctum. I've got a couple of quads already, but they are more old school shape than thruster. I'm toying with the idea of trying a quad shaped more like a thruster, more rocker, thinner with better rails. I could get one shaped by my local shaper, but if sanctum were any good I'd buy one from them.

they are cheap, but I recon they're import, theres a bit of wording in the add that indicates that the seller doesnt really know what he's selling, I'd suggest stay away, if you can scrape together enough for a decent board theres a great shaper directly east of you on the coast, in Bawley point who could knock you up somethign fantastic for $700 or so.

Cheers for the replies. The cash isn't reallt an isuue, more of the speed. I have stumpy wallace at Black Widow just down the road from me. I guess I'll get him to make a quad using one of my thruster fish as a template

n if any probs you know where to go get it fixed..
sounds like a goodera option..

gotto agree, get it done by someone you know. my first board was a pop-out and it was terrible, replaced it with a 2ndhand Nev shaped by Nev and it was a fantastic board, but always a touch big for me, last year got Ashleys in Torquay to make a custom thruster for me based on me, my ability and where I surf. the board is unreal, best thing I have ridden by a mile, wouldnt trade it for anything, top board and it cost me the same as an off-the-shelf unit and was ready in 2-3weeks.
