My Mrs owns this lovely all original 1500S. Its done 84,000 miles and everything is original (apart from a 12v upgrade) including reversing lights, Blaupunkt Radio, etc etc. Service by VW from 65 every three months up to 1981 (when the book ran out of space)

I have a '73 L bug, genuine un-restored (but badly in need of it) ~150k km, geniune one old lady owner from new with VW service history to 70k km.
I even relaced the original rear brake shoes when I got it. :D
My brother has a '54 un-restored bug with sales history, again needs to be restored though. Very
Both are registered and in use.

Nellie is stock as a rock, apart from ride height, and then my little mods(shifter and so on) but mostly original period accessories.
