Thanks to Anthony and Nathan for organising another great day.. well done lads!
Was a really fun day. Great turnout. Good work guys, big effort.
Well another VW Cruises Jamboree has come and gone , I think its 8 years running.
With well over 100 cars and the weather being kind yet again for the day it was another huge event.
I just want to take this chance to thank all the people that helped support the show this year.
People like Brad and Jono at 'Bus n Bug' for an excellent open night and making all feel welcome.
Also Mark (jnr356) for putting on a bbq on Saturday night. Had a great time and was great to meet heaps of forum members.
Then a big thanks goes out to 'Melburg Luft' ,Josh (hertz) and Mark (jnr356) and the team for sponsoring the main event, not to forget the luft crew
for helping out on the day also.
Next year I'm bringing a bean bag!
Thanks to Rawdyn from Splitty.com.au for the Calenders.
Craig from VMA magzine for the mags, hats and Tshirts. You'll be able to read all about the event in an upcoming issue so you better grab yourself
one. http://www.vwma.net.au
Thanks to all the people who took time out of their day to help with all the little jobs to make the organisers' day easier.
I hope you all had a great day, as I sure did and to take home some trophies for the 49 was very unexpected.
I wish I could have hung around longer for a chat after the presentations.
I'm not one for a short show but I really wanted to get the car home as the clouds started to look very grey! LOL
I'm glad I decided to bring out the beetle and not leave it at home in the shed , the day was tops.
"Stealthy and Jo" Thanks a heap!
