BUG-IN, General admission
Mick058 - March 17th, 2008 at 12:24 PM

Is there a show and shine slot this weekend? I haven't registered or anything, which day is best to go and check out the event.

Can general admission go watch the circuit racing?

And, important, where?

Cheers...

from what i can workout from the registration form the show n shine is $15.It doesn't give any prices for spectators.
It all sounds reasonable. These guys are trying to organise 3 "race" type events as well as catering, there are games, a posted sign "rally".As well as a dinner on the saturday nite and more events on sunday. The swapmeet is FREE!
Looking good to me!

3 1/2 hour drive with no radio, in a lowered, bump steer,135s on the front,125 decibel twin weber no mufflers,55 beetle and i'll be there!

I have nothing to do with the organisers, but pointed out to them that we needed some more information.
Here is their reply that they asked me to pass on to you all...

Gates Open at 7:30am, Closes at 5:30pm There is a $2 donation at the front gate (its for a good cause) give to the “grid girls”.
We’re asking that all trade stands, car show and swap meet be in and setup by 9am.
Motorsport events start 9am – 4:30pm lunch approx 12:30-1:30pm Competitors must be entered and scrutinized by 8:30am

On a more personal note, I am paid and signed up for the motorkhana, but have broken something in my gearbox this week that cannot be fixed before Saturday. :-(
Anyone with a car that is happy to have an extra driver in that event?
David

G'day, I am a little late out of the starting gate to get onto making plans for the Bug-In. I thought I was working all weekend $$$$...but I seem to have a 5 day weekend. I was thinking of heading over to Sydney (from Melbourne) and check out the Bug -IN. ... My question is ... Does anybody know a good place to camp out on the cheap near the event... or otherwise... that is not booked up. If there were other Volk Folk and a whole mess of grog involved I would not be offended. Keep in mind that I would bring my wife...so it needs actual facilities and stuff. I have not actually been to Sydney before (except the airport)...so I have no idea what to expect when I get there. Thanx for any info.
