Something that doesnt happen everyday
Grey 57 - May 26th, 2003 at 06:34 PM

Coming back from the Hanging Rock Cruise yesterday. As I stopped at the Kingsway off ramp , I looked down at the speedo to see it roll over to 00000. All zeros. Never had a car, let alone driving it when that has happened.
Minor mile stone.
Didnt have a camera on me, so had to take this pic when I got home. 00012

Phil74Camper - May 27th, 2003 at 10:32 AM

Saw that twice on my old Beetle when it had a mph speedo, then once more when I put a metric one in. Pretty amazing feeling.

Haven't got there on the Kombi yet, but a few weeks ago the speedo would have read 66666.6 (but I missed seeing it)

Andy - May 27th, 2003 at 10:43 AM

Yes, did it in the beetle a few years back Great fun.
The Kombi's only up to 420 000, not much chance of clocking it over??

amazer - May 27th, 2003 at 06:56 PM

you dont even get 00000 when you buy a brand new car.

jenz58 - May 27th, 2003 at 08:23 PM
