Sorry about my Beetle centric pics.

There were some brilliant cars.

My faves was the white beetle (in the pics below)

and thew silver beetle (didnt get pics)

Awesome motor

This is the on in the for sale section (very nice)

A good day with a lot of interest and a super range of excellent cars.

I was there - great range of cars, especially the beetles. I saw your beetle there (blue and white?) and have a few pics of it and heaps of others.

Judges gave me a few tips about it.

Seems like I am a LONG way away from a trophy winner. :grind:

My fave is watching the little kids in the back seat of oncoming cars beating the crap out of each other with punch buggies.

Some great pics as usual people. I didnt realise my car was photographed so much.

I also loved the Eurekas and I reckon I would trade for one of the buggies too.

I thought the pink and white van was pretty special as well.

Who owns the beautiful orange '74 Bug with rag sunroof and 'VOLKS-4' Rego and 'for sale' sign? I followed it today for a while on the Port Wakfield road-jesus it sounds sweet on the road.

He is from Clare. The motor cost $8,500.

Asking price is around $14500.

Thanks Fellas-I don't want to own it(have more than enough on my plate now)---was very impressed with it and I haven't seen it B4.Had a good look over it at the show and then spotted it on the road and it goes as good as it looks.Sorry about the yellow Oval-too many things against getting it down-have to return the Trophy in November-so will get it down then.

Does anyone know the story behind the grey/silver beetle pictured above. I was behind it on ANZAC Hw on the way down to the show and it caught my attention.

And I'm sure I saw both the '51 split beetle and the silver kombie on my street on the weekend.

silver grey beetle belongs to Jon Kruger, el Presidente of the Volks Enthusiasts club of S.A.
'51 split belongs to Barry Lord, who also owns the blue Ascort seen at Warwick and Portland.
