Wondering if anyone can help - trying to track down what happened to my last beetle- sold if a few years back and lost track of her. Just curious to see how she is.

We're talking - '73L bug, Ascot grey (honda colour), carerra kit (you know the wing, torana tail lights the whole bit!), it was is Aust VW power when first built and I sold it with THX 539 plates on it.
I sold it to a girl in Gunnedah - I know she sold it but I don't know where.

As I said just curious to see whether she's still cruizin or not - bit of nostalgia!!

Any ideas would be great.

this may sound a little odd, but did it have a luisi steering wheel? there was a girl in armidale with a bug that sounds like the one you were describing (well 2 years ago anyway).
at the time it was fitted with a different motor (not a beetle motor)

Um I don't know what brand the steering wheel was - it certainly wasn't standard. The interior was two tone grey with reccaro front seat if that helps. Sorry I know its all a bit vague - I'll try to get someone to scan a pic.:bounce
