As per usual we have booked a unit and will be there from Thur 5th through Mon 9th .
About Wintersun : This is a 50's and 60's rock and roll and hot rod show that has been going for many years ,All events and car displays are run in the streets of Coolangatta on the Southern Gold Coast , plenty of fun entertainment at all times 100's of great cars from hot rods to musle cars and even the odd VW.

Das Resto Haus will have a display there. Think Rod Richardson's chop top will be there on Al's stand.

We'd been planning all year on going up, but unfortunately we can't afford it this time around. Next year for sure!

We afford it every year by saving most of our gold coins for the year in a tin etc , covers alcohol , some of the accomodation , and eating out etc

Yep I'll be there. Sunday 8 June my mate is running the car auction and "sale area" (something I didn't realise is that its illegal to advertise your car for sale (even with RWC) - our friends copped a $150 council fine last week!)......anyway.....that is where the chop top will be on display - looking forward to it! Looks like the weather may clear toward the end of the week (hopefully)

pretty impressive turn out but lack of VWs was bit of a let down altho its more hotrod/muscle car orientated event
