Ducati & Stoner
BeetleJuice - July 14th, 2008 at 05:47 PM

Well, I'm really chuffed on how Stoner and ducati have fought back in Moto GP.

I think the way he's riding really justifies his world championship no 1 plate!

It was great to see Vermulen on the podium as well!

Westi was going good until he had a spill!

It sends a chill up your spine watching these guys racing in conditions like that.

Sliding on the tarmac on their spills looks pretty harmless until the reality of travelling at 260kms on your butt kicks in!

Casey has toned down his criticism of other riders now. Last year (when he was winning) he was very critical of Rossi commenting about his tyres and gear not up to scratch, Casey said Valentino should just ride and not blame his gear. When Casey wasn't winning this year he was first to complain about his bike not being up to scratch. I'm sure it was the press drumming it up and playing to the differences but it wasn't very flattering. Casey seems like a good kid, it might have just been the press.

The press conference last night was good with Casey only having good words to say about his opposition, if he keeps that up he might win a few browny points back. It's easy to be magnanimous when winning but it takes a true champeen to be like that when he's losing, how's the rest of the year going to play out?

I agree it was good to see Cris getting points as well.

I enjoy the racing for racing sake, not because Straylians are winning, it's good they do but if there's good racing doesn't matter a rodents buttocks who's winning.

The only thing better than Stoner winning on a Ducati is Bayliss winning on Ducati. :tu::tu::tu:

What about the other Troy, at 63 or however old he is, Corser still is very competitive.

Troy (Bayliss) is the local home town hero which explains my bias. He's not a bad bloke either.

And yeah Stoner does seem to have matured a lot lately, I never really had much time for him, but he's winning me over.

Cheers
Brendan

There's a few girls round this town that ride them, they can't handle Jap stuff so they use the Yoorapean stuff. :dork: m They have a big gay following in Syderney, not that there's anything wrong with that. Last Mardi Gras Dukes made up 64.5% of the dykes on Bikes line up:lol:

.......so you were part of the 35.5%????????

Good comeback.

No I haven't been in the big parade, my CT125 wouldn't keep up with the Dukes! At the back behind all those Conti's would be a good place to be though.

The 2 Troy's are really great riders!

Maybe Ducati should give Troy B the ride on the Duke nest to Stoner next year!!!!!!!!!

I would like to have seen what Bayliss could have done if he had of been No.1 rider for Ducatic during his stint in Moto GP.

Guess we'll never know, as he's hanging the 2 wheel boots up at the end of this year.
