The new Golf VI
Phil74Camper - August 6th, 2008 at 03:11 PM

This is the upcoming Golf 6, due to be released for sale in Europe in October.

The bodyshell seems similar to the current Golf 5, but with a more defined hip line. Apparently the platform has been simplified over the current Golf, in order to reduce production costs and to make variations easier to produce (such as the Jetta, Cross Golf, Scirocco, Eos and various Skodas, Audis and SEATs).

The Golf 6 nose uses some elements of the Scirocco. The rear is similar to the Touareg SUV.

Volkswagen made the 26 millionth Golf a few months ago.

This is the rear.

The Golf 6 will appear in Australia in 2009, perhaps debuting at the Melbourne Motor Show?

Looks like they have nice girls in Wolfsburg too.
