Peter Warren motors is one of the largest motor vehicle dealers in Australia. He is synonymous with selling Fords, but his huge dealership at Warwick Farm sells 13 different makes. If you have been there, you know the model Sydney Harbour Bridge out the front.

But did you know he started out selling Volkswagens? The dealership was built on the corner of the Hume Highway (now Macquarie St), and Elizabeth St. Here is one of his early newspaper ads.

But everything comes to an end. Peter Warren stopped selling Volkswagens in 1966. This is a news item from the 'Liverpool Leader' local newspaper, from February 1966.
