Super charger, is this any good?
karmannghia60 - August 11th, 2008 at 03:17 PM

Have a look at this. I can't imagine how can a fan spin at 65,000 rpm under only normal induction! But the feedback does not look too bad about the product.

So something unpowered that impedes air flow in the intake will make your car go better?

Dero - August 11th, 2008 at 03:28 PM

I can only see that is adding restriction to inlet... I have no idea how it could possiably add power...

Looks like the "hiclone" has been renamed to sucker some more unknowledgeable buyers in.

been around for years and have seen them and they show no gains on a dyno.....

joel, there is a function that allows you to ignore sellers when you search.

greedy53 - August 11th, 2008 at 06:29 PM

well just to be differant, these type of blowers are used in porsche and mercs a lot of the big guys use them and i will confess i had one on my t3, with very good things happerning it was hooked up ot only work under full throttle for hills and overtaking i often was in convoy with another t3 with a 5 speed mine was 3 auto from a side by start at the bottom of mooney mooney to the top was a 300 yard differance in my favour my mate was pissed
so do they work yes used properly the can and do help i am not talking from what i was told or read i used one:no:
now shout me down i'm ready

shaihulud - August 11th, 2008 at 07:31 PM

The only way that I can see it helping would be to improve the atomisation of the fuel in the intake system and to increase the turbulence in the induction system to improve combustion. Then again maybe not.

greedy53 - August 11th, 2008 at 07:46 PM

sounds good i'll take it
