as the header says, i finally found an oval, 56 grey,all original,even interior,just needs a good polish and cleaning, am going down to sydney tomorrow(from the gold coast)the only thing that isn't original is the motor but has a 56 porsche motor in, as soon as i get back i get it registered in qld ....so keep your eyes open on the gold coast......damn i feel good

concrats on that one. are you gonna leave the 356 engine in it or put a beetle motor back in? is it the356 engine with the roller bearing crank in it?

Cool i'll keep my eyes open for ya on the coast. Live there also. Great to see ovals around. Somebody drives a nice looking oval and i thinks works near the gold coast arts centre or offices near bye seen it a few times now on my travels. Looks great. full louvered rear lid wonder what might be lurking beneath !!!!

Not seen the white one around but will keep my eyes open now for it.
The one i have seen is silver / grey in colour. I'll have to keep my eyes open next time i see it.
Cruise meet up could be cool see how many people on the gold caost there is !!
