Can anyone recommend a good garage/mechanic in Perth?

I am picking up a bug tomorrow and need someone I can trust to give it a once over and also put new tires on and a couple of minor things.

I don't know bugs very well 'cos I am new to them, also not that ou fait with cars in general so don't want to be taken for a ride.

Ironically I work as an engineer.

I've given my new bug the once over and don't see major rust. Floor pan looks its age, but not too bad...but I could be totally wrong. I just hope I have not bought a bad 'un.

You've probably found somewhere by now but Lang Motors in Bayswater are a VW specialist, I've not been there myself but the bug I have just bought had all it's work done there. I think there is also some where in Balcatta that's a specialist too.
