Yeah, they fly. At Waikerie, back in July, on the long straights a couple of them were touching 230-240 Kph, which is just ridiculously fast. Rumour has it though that there's a proposal being put forward at National level, by the drivers themselves, to try and limit the top speed of the Pro-buggies - not because of the danger (which in any case is only a twitch of the steering wheel away), but in the interest of competition. It'll be interesting to see how they implement it, and police it, if they agree to do so.
