Nice bunch of pics. There's more KG's there than you get at the Nats and Valla.
This was my first Karmen Kruise, and i just gotta say it was great, the rain stopped after about the first 10 minutes then it was sun & blue skys
for the rest of the day.
the cruise route was amazing, up through the adelaide hills to the winery.... some awsome sights ..... a big line of VW's snaking up & down the
winding roads, at many times i wished i had a camera to get it on film, trully awsome. As we passed through small towns like Handorf and others ,
there were lots of poeple looking at us pass through with big smiles on their faces.
a great turn out of cars, ghia's, kombis, beetles, it was all good.
the BBQ spot at Chappel Hill winery was great, and the BBQ was top notch too.
A great cruise, good food, good wine, AWSOME bunch of people & VW's ..... what more could you ask for.
OH yeah, and my RAZOR won best standard ghia ..... WOO HOO
So all in all .... a TOP DAY.
Juat wanna say a HUGE thank you to all those who had a hand in getting the day together, and everybody who turned up.
Cheers, FINN
The Lowlight Ghia belongs to a guy called Chris?
There wouldn't be too many of 'em in Adelaide...![]()
yes the lowlight belongs to chris -it is one sweet car very original, if you are going to own a kg it has to be a lowlight
heath jon had the prado because his daughter was driving dont think he trusts a leaner in the oval
