I am wondering how difficult and how worthy it would be to have a subdivision of sorts of thge TECK TORQUE (go Peter hic Werret ) forum.
It could be for all those repeated topics ie Leaded/unleaded, What oil for my gearbox/ engine?, lowering a splitty, adjusting tappets, pointless
ignitions, etc devoted to useful imformation rather than the waffle from 1915 discussions and the like . This could replace the MODS forum which is not
usaed and could form the basis of a useful technical resourse.MITCHELL.

Its a good idea. If the gods placed all posts that are over a set number of replys and also of certain standard into a "Frequently asked questions" section.
Totally agree, Split bus must be fed up the amount of times he has replied to people wanting info on how to lower a splitty.

What makes you think that the mods section is not used? I use it whenever I have an issue that I wish to discuss with other moderators, which is what
it was put there for.
If you want another section, there is no reason why we should have to delete an existing section. Your suggestion is a valid one, but the question is
whether it is viable in terms of maintenance, and whether or not people would find it valuable enough to be worth the effort. Don't forget that
moderators and admins donate their time, they are not paid in any way.
I think you will find they are talking about the MODS section as in modifications not moderators. It wa the section which was created to meet this request.
Cannot the links to the relavent threads be added there?
MIttcHeLl.
Ah yes, the mods section. So people aren't using it? I wouldn't know, I've never been in there!!!!
It's called Mods and Tech FAQ's.
I've opened it up for posting, too. Find me threads to move there. They should be informative and with quality information.
Discussion threads like the various 1916 threads, probably don't belong in there unless you're going to tell us how to build up a race
motor.

Exellent, and I totally agree re not being about discusssions it should be more a reference and tecnical imformation area .
Hopefully it will be well attended. Andrew can threads from the first verion of the forum be included?MItchEll.
